This is the start to the Fibonacci series (can you see the pattern ?)

you can use it to make an A4 piece of paper and the number of petals a flower has is usually one of the Fibonacci numbers.

to make an A4 size piece of paper start with a 1x1 square and then draw another one next to it. then draw a larger square on the longside. do it again, and again. If the first square measured 1x1 and the next did too, then the next would equal 2x2, then 3x3, 5x5, 8x8 etc
